After earning his from The American University in Washington DC, he worked on Wall Street in New York City. Mr. Philips was awarded an academic scholarship and earned his Juris Doctor (JD)/law degree in 1996. Thereafter, he received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University Of Miami School Of Law. After working for prestigious law firms in Florida, Mr. Philips founded his own firm and has represented some very well known developers and businesses throughout Florida.

Mr. Philips makes appearances on national television networks, has been interviewed for major newspapers and periodicals on several occasions, and consistently published in media pieces regarding condominium law and condominium litigation.

Mr. Philips also consults other attorneys that represent buyers in seeking condominium contract cancellation. He is also involved in community affairs and charities, thereby giving back to the community whenever possible.
